Project Description:

Provides specialized telephone equipment, smartphones, and tablets to Pennsylvanians who meet all of the program requirements. This program was created in 1995 by PA legislation and has eligibility requirements, including age, PA residency, low-income, proof of disability that prohibits independent access to telecommunication, and the ability to use the requested equipment. The equipment provided to eligible individuals becomes their property and responsibility. This program does not pay for home or wireless telecommunication services.
