Project Description:
This initiative introduces the Charting the LifeCourse (CtLC) framework in Korea for the first time, offering a practical and culturally adaptable approach to person-centered living. Building on the foundation of Person-Centered Thinking (PCT), CtLC provides structured tools to help individuals, families, and professionals shape and pursue a vision of a good life. Rooted in principles of self-determination, inclusion, and dignity, CtLC aligns with global frameworks such as the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By convening leaders across sectors, this effort aims to spark system transformation in Korea — shifting from service-centered to life-centered support, strengthening natural relationships, and co-creating a shared LifeCourse ecosystem for people with disabilities, their families, and communities.
