Assistive Technology Public Health Workforce
Project Description:
The investment in the public health workforce is being used to support two priority initiatives. The first was the inclusion of a funding and policy specialist on the State AT Program team. This individual is responsible for developing assistive technology guidance for the early intervention and Pre-K12 systems, and providing training for educators, administrators, families and students. He will also take the lead in revitalizing a statewide equipment refurbishment program.
