Project Description:
The Ferguson Fellowship will recruit up to 65 veterinary, medical, dental, pharmacy, and graduate students in public health and related biomedical disciplines, especially those from PUPHC, who will participate in one of three summer, 6- month, or 12-month public health research experiences to increase infectious disease-related public health research skills and exposure to public health careers. The Ferguson Fellowship will provide summer, 6-month, and 12-month mentored public health research experiences for up to 65 diverse graduate scholars through CDC, Kennedy Krieger, and university partnerships with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (Howard University, Morehouse School of Medicine), CUNY City University of New York, Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions, and Emory Rollins School of Public Health.
