3a-1 Neurodevelopmental Disorders Clinic
Project Description:
The Neurodevelopmental Disorders Clinic, under the leadership of Drs. Akins, D.O., Enriquez, Ph.D., Restrepo, M.D., and Angkustsiri, M.D., provides assessments for ASD, Fragile X syndrome, 22q11.2 deletion syndrome, ADHD, learning disorders, and other DD. The clinic provides interdisciplinary diagnostic evaluations, intervention recommendations and medical management for children referred by primary care physicians as well as through contractual agreements with four Regional Centers. Clinicians provide information to parents interested in MIND Institute research studies as well as information about other community resources. CEDD and LEND trainees are involved in clinical activities and has pre- and post- doctoral psychology training programs.
