Robots and Social-Emotional Learning Research Project
Project Description:
The purpose of this project is to implement and measure the effectiveness of the ROBOKIND curriculum and technology in three Rhode Island schools with the target population. The result of the project will be measurable evidence of the ROBOKIND curriculum effectiveness in developing improved social pragmatic skills with students in the target population. The research team of college faculty, along with teachers and staff from the implementation classrooms and research assistants will participate in the training necessary to implement the curriculum, implement the curriculum with students, collect and analyze result data and participate in a network of participants involved with the demonstration of the ROBOKIND curriculum. Further, participants will develop necessary reports on the project and participate in dissemination activities
