JAVORKA: Advanced Nursing Education - Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners Program
Project Description:
The MT SANE Consortium will contract with the University of Montana Rural Institute for Inclusive Communities to conduct a comprehensive evaluation and provide the framework and process for continuous quality improvement, including: - Follow the HHS Evaluation Policy and OMB Memorandum M-20-12 standards. - Gather and analyze data to report the increase in the number of examiners in training and graduates due to grant funding. - Follow up with graduates for employment information for at least one year after training completion. - Participate in federal evaluations upon request. - Implement regular evaluations of mentorship programs and curriculum effectiveness. The evaluation will use a concurrent mixed methods design in which quantitative and qualitative data are collected simultaneously throughout the project. The evaluation will address specific objectives outlined in the project proposal, with evaluation questions, measures, and data collection activities organized accordingly. To ensure ethical compliance, these will be submitted for full Institutional Review Board (IRB) review before stakeholder engagement and data collection.
