Project Description:
The Utah Pyramid Model EEO project intends to develop an effective and efficient onboarding process for newly hired Part C early intervention (EI) practitioners that includes Pyramid Model practices. Onboarding is a human resource term referring to a process that helps new employees acclimate to their new work environment, integrate into the organization's culture and become effective and efficient team members. The EEO project will develop a series of training modules utilizing evidence-based practices aligned with DEC Recommended Practices (2014) and the Early Intervention Services: Key Principles and Practices (2008). The EEO project's modules will embed Pyramid Model (PM) practices into the onboarding topic areas, eliminating the need for additional Pyramid Model training in addition to onboarding requirements. The purpose of this quantitative experimental study is to measure the effect of Pyramid Model embedded onboarding training on the ability of EI practitioners to implement fidelity on FCC on the Early Interventionist Pyramid Practices Fidelity Instrument for EI practitioners in Utah. RQ1:   If and to what extent does Pyramid Model embedded onboarding training affect the ability for EI practitioners to implement fidelity on FCC on the (EIPPFI) Early Interventionist Pyramid Practices Fidelity Instrument?
