Project Description:
The goal of Project Hookui III: Na Kumu Alakai (Project Na Kumu Alakai) is to continuously increase enrollment of Native Hawaiian students in postsecondary education or in postsecondary certification programs, leading to employment. This will be done by implementing professional development programs designed for Hawaii Department of Education (HIDOE) faculty based on the Project Hoʻokuʻi model. Personnel from Northern Arizona Universitys Institute for Human Development act as external evaluators on this project, providing cumulative and summative feedback, reports and analyses on the alignment of the projects stated objectives with stated outcomes.
