COEF - Unserved Coloradans -Community Survey for People with IDD

Center:
Fiscal Year:
2025
Contact Information:
Project Description:
This study aims to gather input from people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and their families in Colorado to better understand what contributes to a meaningful life beyond just services. Conducted by the Colorado Office of Employment First (JFK Partners) on behalf of the Colorado Developmental Disabilities Council, the survey is part of a five-year statewide review to guide the Council's future state plan. It focuses on values like freedom, choice, love, purpose, and inclusion, and seeks to bridge the gap between system-level intentions and real-life experiences of people with IDD. The survey is written in plain language, is anonymous, and may be completed with support from a caregiver or family member. There will also be focus groups for people with IDD to help gather more data.
