Project Description:

This project was designed to research information from community based developmental disability provider organizations and direct support professionals to identify strengths and barriers to recruitment and retention of direct support professionals. A literature review was conducted to find best practices around recruitment and retention of direct support professionals. Resources were identified or developed and shared via a webpage with community based developmental disability providers to use and evaluate the effectiveness of the resources.
