Project Description:
The purpose of this project is to develop a longitudinal database of physical health and social emotional health indicators for children, youth, and adults, with IDD in collaboration with Special Olympics North America (SONA). This would include SONA athletes as well as any family that is interested in participating. SONA has provided screenings which have been annual and focused solely on physical health. New to this project is the addition of collecting data with respect to social-emotional wellness and using an approach to data collection called mobile Ecological Momentary Assessment to query athletes how they are feeling and the levels of activity in which they are engaging at a variety of times.
