Infant Toddler Court Program FY25

Project Description:

Infant and Toddler Court Program is being expanded in Nevada to add Carson City and Clark County Safe Babies Court Teams to an already established Safe Babies Court Team in Washoe County. This specialty court program serves to support families with very young children, prenatal to 3 years old, to promote family preservation and/or reunification with families involved in the child welfare system. The NV ITCP Expansion Project (NV Project) seeks to create a statewide infrastructure through the establishment of a permanent NV ITCP Leadership Office to strengthen and support current ITCP court sites and to expand ITCP's to as many district family courts throughout Nevada. The NV Project is focused on alignment of its efforts with existing statewide and local maternal/child health initiatives and early childhood serving coalitions.
