Project Description:
The proposed project aims to develop new accessible resources with culturally driven content created by and for Tribal citizens with ID/DD and their families in Oklahoma. The University of Kansas (KU) will work in collaboration with Tribal citizens, podcast hosts, and the Council to produce 6 podcast episodes (a communication platform of choice) focused on disability-related issues at different stages in the lifespan relevant to Tribal citizens. The content creation will be driven by Tribal hosts and guests and honor the journey of disability and culture through storytelling, information sharing, and outreach The party agrees to complete the following activities for an estimated $25,000 for one year of engagement.
