Project Description:
This project increases the inventory of adaptive equipment and assistive technology specifically used by children and youth (birth to age 21) with special health care needs (CYSHCN). MonTECH will purchase $75,000 worth of equipment a year to house in their equipment library for access by CYSHCN across Montana. The Mission of MonTECH is to provide technology, support and services that improve the quality of life for Montana's with disability. Children's Special Health Services (CSHS) at DPHHS works to help children and families in Montana receive the healthcare and supportive services they need to live fulfilling, healthy lives in their communities. Our respective programs' missions align in regards to improving the quality of life for children and youth with disabilities in the state of Montana.
