NACDD Preventing tobacco and cancer-related health disparities by building equitable communities
Project Description:
The goals of these four strategies and activities include: (1) advance cancer prevention and control and
tobacco control initiatives to accelerate the decline in commercial tobacco use; (2) reduce the
incidence/mortality of tobacco-related cancers; and (3) focus on prevention and control efforts for PWD,
including Veterans, who experience a higher burden of tobacco- and cancer-related health disparities.
