Project Description:
The Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Program assures that all individuals with a traumatic brain injury who live in West Virginia have access to available services and supports through person-centered resource coordination and providing access to an unmet needs funding program for goods and services that cannot be provided through conventional ways. The program provides linkage, referral, and advocacy activities for clients impacted by traumatic brain injury in an effort to connect to resources that will enhance their quality of life. The program also provides training and technical assistance statewide to survivors of brain injury, family members, caregivers, services providers, and state agencies to increase skills and understanding of the effects of traumatic brain injury.
