Project Description:
The purpose of the Children's Mental Health Initiative is to identify gaps in the system of care and improve access to services for children suffering from or at risk for serious emotional disturbances. The goal is to help keep kids in Alaska, close to their home sites and out of emergency rooms when seeking access to behavioral healthcare. The purpose of the evaluation component of this project is to create and implement the structure whereby the NOMS data can be entered into SPARS on a regular basis and to conduct data analyses of NOMS data to help assess changes over time.
