Project Description:
The Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics (DBP) Fellowship is a three-year ACGME-accredited program designed for pediatricians aiming to specialize in the care of children with developmental and behavioral disabilities. This fellowship emphasizes diverse interdisciplinary collaboration, scientific inquiry, cultural humility, and the personal and professional well-being of its fellows. Through flexible training and mentorship, the program cultivates independent subspecialty physicians and researchers who are lifelong learners, educators, and advocates. Fellows gain experience in diagnostic challenges, collaborative research, and advocacy while building long-term relationships with children and families. The program values wellness, ensuring that fellows and faculty are well-supported and rested to enhance their learning and development. Graduates will be Board-eligible in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics, prepared for careers integrating complex care and ongoing treatment.
