ECHO Children's Mental Health Initiative (CMHI)
Project Description:
The Children's Mental Health Initiative (CMHI) ECHO is a virtual learning network and community of practice working to support improvements to mental health outcomes for children and youth in Alaska (birth through age 21) at risk for or with serious emotional disturbances (SED), and their families. Each 60-minute session includes a brief lecture, an individual or systems-level de-identified case presentation for participants to receive feedback on complex cases, and open discussion facilitated by an interdisciplinary team. This activity is jointly provided by The University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) Center for Human Development - Project ECHO and the State of Alaska Division of Behavioral Health (SOA DBH).
