Project Description:
The UW Adult Autism Clinic, operated by UW Medicine and housed at the Institute on Human Development and Disability (IHDD) at UW Medical Center, provides specialized medical and behavioral health services for adults with autism spectrum disorder and related developmental conditions. Since its launch in 2012, the clinic has supported thousands of individuals and families through comprehensive evaluations, mental health services, medication management, and transition supports. Now co-located with other interdisciplinary IHDD programs, the clinic also serves as a training site for healthcare providers and plays a key role in expanding access, outreach, and integrated care for autistic adults and adults with IDD.
