Project Description:

Four major areas of focus. Goal 1: Provide training and technical assistance to increase capacity of Arkansas organizations to provide both physical and programmatic access to citizens with disabilities. Goal 2: Increase capacity of Arkansas IHEs to create and maintain accessible websites and digital environments. Goal 3: Further develop a leadership consortium to develop and guide community leaders to support and sustain knowledge of the actual ADA law including the broader spirit of the law in the state of Arkansas. Goal 4: Increase capacity within the criminal justice system (law enforcement, court professionals and victim advocates) to provide access to Arkansans with disabilities.
