Project Description:
The School Discipline Improvement Plan (SDIP) initiative was developed by the DE-MTSS TA Center in partnership with the Delaware Department of Education to support schools identified under 14 Del. C. § 703(a)(4). It aims to reduce exclusionary and disproportionate discipline practices, especially for students with disabilities and racial subgroups. The initiative provides technical assistance through professional learning, office hours, and coaching for schools and districts developing improvement plans. The Center also supports data collection, strategic planning with DDOE and REL, and offers tools and resources to help schools center equity in their SDIP efforts.
