Supporting ASD Diagnosis in CRS Clinics

Project Description:
Purpose: To plan and support movement towards a statewide network of CRS-affiliated diagnostic clinics focused on early identification of ASD. Goal 1: Provide telementoring to CRS diagnostic teams twice per month. Effort is requested to support the biweekly ECHO consultation hub team comprised of clinicians with expertise in ASD assessment and the RAN Family Navigator. Additional effort is requested for a support staff to participate in coordination of the hub team. Goal 2: Provide direct consultation during diagnostic assessment appointments (on-site or via telehealth) for CRS diagnostic clinics. Effort will support an expert clinician to provide direct support during CRS diagnostic assessments up to twice per month; utilization of a Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician or Psychologist for each assessment will be determined as needed. Mileage is budgeted to support travel to external sites.
