EMERGE: Early Markers of Expressive and Receptive (language) Growth in Ethnically diverse autistic toddlers
Project Description:
This is evaluating toddlers who are identified with having concerns for autism and are minimally verbal and come from diverse ethnic and racial backgrounds. The goal is to understand early behavioral markers of language development and challenges and underlying brain function that might be associated with this. My role in this project is to evaluate and understand motor function in these toddlers and how it plays a role in their receptive and expressive language development.
