Validating Measures and Unpacking Differences in Service Use for Diverse Children with Autism (LEAP)
Project Description:
To improve health equity for children with autism spectrum disorder from Limited English Proficient backgrounds. Survey families by measuring how English proficiency impacts services access for school-age children with autism spectrum disorder in diverse families, surveys will be performed in five languages (English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese, Haitian Creole) and conduct follow-up interviews with families to learn about their individual experiences.
