Project Description:
Oklahoma CLL/UCEDD bilingual staff provides the Hispanic perspective and technical assistance, training and mentoring to Spanish speaking families and leaders for the Oklahoma Family Network (OFN). Cultural awareness is provided to leadership, staff and families. Technical assistance around medical, mental and behavior health and one-on-one support and mentoring is provided to emerging family leaders. Training to Spanish speaking families, self-advocates and community partners is provided. She represents and brings the perspective of the Hispanic population to national, regional and local conferences and resource fairs.
