Beneficiary Employment Technical Assistance & Planning (BEE)
Project Description:
The intent of this project is for the UAA Center for Human Development (CHD) to provide coordination, technical assistance, information dissemination, and program development to promote increased employment for Alaska Mental Health Trust beneficiaries. This work builds on previous beneficiary employment technical assistance to enhance the reach and impact of the Trust's Beneficiary Employment & Engagement Focus Area.
The project will ensure a broad focus on multiple Trust beneficiary populations including those experiencing developmental disabilities, mental illness, substance use disorders and traumatic brain injury.
FY25 activities will focus on the expanding, maintaining, and promoting of the "Alaska Disability Benefits 101 (DB 101)" resource website with the World Institute on Disabilities (WID).
CHD will work to consolidate beneficiary related employment resources into a single accessible website to ensure reliable and consistent information for beneficiaries, providers and policy makers. DB101 will be the website housing this content.
