Project Description:
As part of the KS LEND- led statewide PCIT therapist training, cohorts of mental health professionals (6 per cohort) will participate in LEND as MTT. Partner agencies will include community mental health centers (CMHCs) and other related programs (e.g., FQHCs, medical centers) throughout the state, with a focus on rural and underserved areas. Current partners have indicated interest in this training (see Collaborations section, PACES, Kansas KidsMAP). KS LEND will incorporate training about the identification of ASD/DD and tailoring PCIT for individuals with ASD/DD. Training includes didactics, role-play of intervention skills, observation of intervention competencies, and 12-months of consultation.
