Project Description:
This project is an evaluation of MCIL's PCA College Service Corps pilot. The model recruits and trains college students to meet the direct support needs of individuals with disabilities. PPD will serve as the program evaluation consulting organization to monitor and assess the program activities from college student recruitment, PCA Participant recruitment, matching, interviewing and selection process, onboarding, mentoring, cohort activities, incentive bonus award system of delivery and completion of the program. The program evaluation will also assess the organizational development needs for this program. The evaluation will also develop pre-and post-assessment surveys for both college students and PCA participants based upon the PCA CSC Logic Model. The scope of the program evaluation will include an analysis on "Proof of Concept" in assessing community impact, identifying scalability-related items necessary for the PCA College Service Corps Pilot to expand throughout the State of Minnesota.
