Project Description:
Your Voice, Your Choice The Center on Youth Voice, Youth Choice is for youth with disabilities. You have the right to make your own decisions about your life! At the Center on Youth Voice, Youth Choice, we work with you, your families, and your supporters. We do research, advocacy, and teaching about alternatives to guardianship. We also call alternatives to guardianship A2G. Guardianship is just one option. With guardianship, the guardian makes decisions for you. We are here to talk about alternatives to guardianship. Alternatives to guardianship are other ways you can get support in life after you leave high school. At CYVYC, we speak different languages and come from different cultures. We all work together to learn and share information about alternatives to guardianship. Learn from other youth with disabilities The Center on Youth Voice, Youth Choice (CYVYC) is a national youth resource center on alternatives to guardianship. You can learn more about alternatives to guardianship (A2G) by reading and watching stories and looking through our resources. We share stories and information from many different people with disabilities and people who work with youth seeking alternatives to guardianship.
