Community Support Program
Project Description:
The Community Support Program provides in-service training and TA workshops to service agency personnel throughout the state of Illinois. The program draws heavily from the in-house expertise of the IDHD and DHD staff and faculty. The targets of the program are created through a training committe and requests from the field. The key element is to communicate the central values of the ADD to the direct service network. Examples include workshops, presentations, in-services, coordination of university extension courses, continuing education and short courses on specific topics related to disabilities.
