Arkansas Autism Partnership
Project Description:
The Arkansas Autism Partnership (AAP) is the 1915(c) Medicaid Waiver program for children with autism spectrum disorders between 18 months and 8 years of age. The Arkansas UCEDD is the agency with delegated authority from the Arkansas Department of Human Services (Medicaid and Developmental Disabilities Services) to administer the program on a daily basis. The UCEDD provided technical assistance to the state in the development of this waiver and has been the administrative agency since it's inception more than a decade ago. The program provides intensive intervention in the homes and communities of eligible children, providing them with up to 25 hours per week of one-to-one treatment using evidence-based interventions.
