UConn UCEDD Director Bruder is the current Chair of the International Society on Early Intervention (ISEI). ISEI is an organization designed to provide a framework and forum for professionals from around the world to communicate about advances in the field of early intervention. To chair the International Society of Early Intervention which is an international, professional organization for early childhood intervention. The membership of ISEI is composed of a diverse group of professionals involved in the field of early intervention. Participants include basic and clinical researchers in the field of early intervention representing a diverse array of biomedical and behavioral disciplines, as well as educators, clinicians, and policy-makers in leadership positions. Interested parents are also welcome to join. ISEI membership is on an individual basis, but this structure is designed to take advantage of existing within-country networks and to complement established professional activities and organizations. ISEI now has over 3000 members representing more than 100 countries. The ISEI Web site (www.isei-earlychildhoodintervention.org) is located at the UConn UCEDD and includes links to the ISEI Coordinating Committee, Membership Directory, conferences, publications information, and other related resources.
