AODD - New Mexico ECHO Autism
Project Description:
New Mexico ECHO Autism provides training and guidance on best-practice diagnostic evaluations in young children ages 14-48 months with unambiguous symptoms of autism spectrum disorder using the Screening Tool for Autism in Toddlers (STAT). The project aims to increase capacity of providers across the state to support a family's local access to more timely diagnosis and specialty support services. It also emphasizes best practices for management of medical and psychiatric comorbidities for their patients with ASD.
