Project Description:
The Pennsylvania Department of Human Services seven program offices administer services that provide care and support to Pennsylvania's most vulnerable individuals and families. The Institute on Disabilities, Pennsylvanias University Center on Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD) is housed at Temple Universitys College of Education. The Institutes staff includes interdisciplinary researchers and practitioners who focus on developing policies, programs and practices that will enhance the lives of Pennsylvanians with disabilities. As such, Pennsylvanias Initiative on Assistive Technology (PIAT) and the Institute shall use its staff to develop three deliverables on access and functional needs for PA DHS and other mass car partners.
