Emergency Power Banks for People with Disabilities
Project Description:
Project goal: To increase safety and independence for people with disabilities during emergencies
Objective 1: Purchase and distribute 250 power banks statewide to people with disabilities
Objective 1a: Power banks and bags (250) will be purchased
Objective 1b: Power banks and bags will be sent to independent living centers and Area Agencies on Aging across the state for distribution and use by people with disabilities during emergencies
Objective 2: Develop information on emergencies, power banks and resources
Objective 2a: Helpful information and local resources will be researched
Objective 2b: Informational fact sheets or brochures will be finalized and reviewed
Objective 2c: Information will be distributed with power banks to CILS and AAAs.
