Project Description:
ACL intends to develop technical assistance documents that grantees can use to ensure the accessibility of the required SOGI questions in order to administer them within their individual divisions. ACL requested expert consultation from the Georgetown University NCCC to: 1. Identify sub-questions (data collection prompts) commensurate with ACL SOGI questions that: (a) enhance ACL grantees' capacity to collect and report such data; and (b) are accessible for persons who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities across diverse racial, ethnic, cultural, and linguistic groups. 2. Develop a guidance document for specified ACL grantee programs to collect SOGI data as a component of routine data collection and reporting.
