Project Description:
This project examines whether delivering enhanced milieu teaching through a hybrid in-person and telepractice model increases caregiver language strategy use and rate of child communication. My long-term goal is to develop an effective intervention that enhances spoken language outcomes for children with Down syndrome (DS), which can be delivered in large part via telepractice. This study will evaluate the effect of delivering EMT via telepractice to four parents and their children with DS aged 18-36 months
