Project Description:
Inequities in education, employment and health outcomes for people with disabilities have long been pervasive issues in Kentucky. This initiative will use higher education as a lever to build the public health workforce capacity and address social determinants of health for students with disabilities in higher education. The project objectives are to build leadership opportunities for public health students and interdisciplinary students with disabilities in higher education, develop and deliver content to students with disabilities in higher education, and provide community outreach and engagement through information sharing.
