Project Description:
Professional consulting services ti implement the State Systemic Improvement Project. 1) To provide technical assistance and support to the GDOE in the implementation of school-level improvement of Science Basics in the areas of Reading and Math. 2) Provide teachers and administrators of identified schools-and program personnel-with technical assistance to include the facilitation of department and school-level leadership. 3)Facilitate implementation meetings. 4)Provide reading and math resources. 5)Provide content and implementation expert services. 6) Provide necessary training to identified schools in systems improvement, to include but not limited to: a) Road Map for Learning, b) Systems Improvement, c) Root Cause Analysis, d) Developing a Theory Practice, e) Establishing aims and models for improvement, f) Targeted and intensive interventions for struggling learners, g) Implementation of multi-tiered systems of support, h) Improving the delivery of core instruction. 7) Identify universal screening and progress monitoring tools for reading and math and provide appropriate training to identified schools and program personnel. 8) Implement the use of technology for improving reading skills. 9) Provide quarterly reports and data to district office. 10) Build capacity and sustainability of teachers and administrators of identified schools.
