Project Description:
This project will fund personnel, travel, equipment, and evaluation services to expand specialized services to students with disabilities in rural public schools across Montana. Funding will support outreach and presentations on MonTECH services/assistive technology, transition-related services, and resources for students experiencing deafblindness. Staff from the Rural Institute for Inclusive Communities will work to reach 100 schools during the 2023-2024 school year, including in-person outreach to 50 schools. This project will build the capacity of school personnel to feel more comfortable and confident when working with students with disabilities.
