Project Description:
Nisonger Clinical Support Services (NCSS) began in 2023 as an extension of the previous Behavior Support Services Program which began in 2001 and is still running in that capacity in Franklin County. The program was enhanced in order to provide additional services and expand the availability of services Statewide instead of only locally. NCSS staff provide services in the areas of assessment, consultation and training related to dually diagnosed individuals with complex needs. Behavior support programs are required by state and federal rules for consumers with predictable injurious behaviors. Staff includes psychologists, social workers, behavior analysts, clinical behavior specialists and psychology graduate students.
