Project Description:
Statement of Work: The UNIVERSITY will: a. Deliver training and training resources to stakeholders that explains the use and best practices of supportive technology (i.e. remote supports, assistive technology, other technology that supports independent daily living). b. Develop both readiness evaluation tools and materials for providers that explain the application of technology as it applies to ODP's and OLTL's remote support and assistive technology service definitions. c. Conduct a statewide supportive technology assessment that supports a Technology First approach. The Technology First approach highlights the desire for people to learn more about how to use technology to improve their quality of life at home, at work, and in the community. The UNIVERSITY and the statewide assessment results will support ODP and OLTL with integrating the Technology First approach into practice which includes the incorporation of technology options during the intake process, Individual Support Plan (ISP) development, service selection, and service definition development. d. Provide support to ODP and OLTL in developing Technology First policy and practices. e. Assist with enhancing the statewide framework using the County Behavioral Health (BH)/Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and Autism (IDDA) offices and Community Health Choices (CHC)-Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) infrastructure to accelerate the proliferation and use of supportive technology and Technology First approaches. f. Host two statewide technology summits aimed at exposing providers to an array of current technology solutions. g. Ensure the training and materials developed by The UNIVERSITY will be electronically accessible through ODP's learning management system and a system identified to support OLTLs stakeholders to provide access to materials developed after the funding period.
