Pre-Vocational Integrated Education and Campus Experience (PIECE) for Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
Project Description:
The Nisonger Center's Transition Services Program provides opportunities for individuals with IDD to experience the Career Discovery Process, engage in pre-vocational skill building, and experience integrated community supports through job shadows, job tryouts and internship.
Together, staff from FCBDD and an interdisciplinary team from Ohio State University will deliver a pre-vocational integrated education and campus experience for job seekers that will increase their employment skills and inform service providers of evidence-based practices to deliver employment experiences for adults with IDD.
