Project Description:

Title: UT Mitochondrial Center of Excellence Research Fund PI: Koenig Funding: 2010-present Summary: This project was created to support otherwise unfunded clinical and research activities for the UT Mitochondrial Center of Excellence. It currently is funding the following internal projects: • Database: Koenig (PI): This study collects historical and prospective data regarding medical status, clinical, course, and outcomes of patients followed in the mitochondrial center (March 2014-present). • Specimen Banking: Koenig (PI): This study collects biological samples from patients undergoing routine diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for use by researchers (June 2013-present).
