Project Description:

This project will address the provision of COVID-19 vaccines and boosters to individuals with disabilities in CT and training needs of vaccine providers. Information provided by the state Department of Health, local health departments, and other personnel will be used to describe the vaccine/booster rollout in CT. A training needs assessment of local points of contact for homebased vaccination and a needs assessment of local health department vaccine providers will be conducted. Community trainings, technical assistance, and online modules will be developed and implemented to address training needs and best practices for effective vaccination of individuals with disabilities for vaccine providers and other public health and clinical personnel.
