Project Description:
The AKTC/SDS Direct Support Professional (DSP) Training/Certification PILOT - OVERVIEW The University of Alaska Anchorage, Center for Human Development, Alaska Training Cooperative (AKTC), Senior and Disabilities Services (SDS) DSP Training/Certification Pilot are supporting selected Alaskan agencies and their DSP workforce through the NADSP E-Badge Academy. The Pilot will provide accredited education tuition-free through the AKTC. The Pilot will include training access funds/incentives to reward the Agency and DSP as educational milestones and certification are achieved. This Pilot and the training access funds/incentives are funded by the American Rescue Plan Act Section 9817 enhanced federal medical assistance percentage opportunity.
