Children's Mental Health Initiative (CMHI) Administration
Project Description:
The Children's Mental Health Initiative (CMHI) works to increase access to behavioral health services and reduce the incidence of youth leaving their community, region, or the state to access behavioral health and/or psychiatric services. The Center for Human Development (CHD) will support the State of Alaska's Division of Behavioral Health (DBH) to improve coordination and collaboration within Alaska's system of care between agencies at all levels – state-wide, regional and the local community – in identified communities, providing technical assistance to agencies, coordinating activities and acting as a liaison in reporting to the state on agencies' progress.
