Project Description:
The Maternal and Child Health/Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (MCH/LEND) Program develops and educates clinically competent leaders, skilled in the interdisciplinary process who can: (1) improve the health of children by exercising their knowledge and skills to develop comprehensive, compassionate, family-centered systems of care; (2) secure societal reforms that will enhance and protect the health status of infants, children and adolescents with, or at risk for, neurodevelopmental and related disabilities; and, (3) improve the quality of and reduce the cost of health care by forging community-based partnerships.
